Hello peoples! I'm back from a fun-filled weekend with my husband's family and totally ready to jump back in and play the sims! I chose a founder for my legacy, but I'll tell you who later! I have a couple of questions though in the mean time...

1.) I heard that the cheat to "deleteallcharacters" was bad for your game, but I want to get rid of all my Maxis townies/downtownies and replace them with the sims I've downloaded from pixel_trade  so, how's the best way to do that? Just use SimPE or is there an easier way? **Answered**

2.) And then to actually make the new sims townies, how's the best way to do that? I know there's a hacked object out there somewhere that will turn a sim into a townie, but I can't remember what it is or where it's from...much less how it works! Any ideas or better ways to make them townies? **Answered**

Thanks in advance for the help! Once I figure this part out, the legacy can officially begin!

Question #2 answered: I just found a tutorial by simsforaranyathat tells you exactly what hacks you need and how to make playable sims into townies! All I had to do was check my friends page and there it was! LOL too funny!

Question #1 answered: Thanks to simsforaranyaand simsofmylife I found and followed tutorials that made my hoods townie -free! Thanks guys! The best tutorial was from simgaroop.

Tomorrow I'll be able to go into the new empty hood and make the other downloaded sims from pixel_tradeinto townies/downtownies! And then the legacy can begin!

Hello again! Ok, so I have definitely decided to try a legacy challenge. This will be my first shot at one, I've only ever tried the Prosperity Challenge and a short run with the ISBI challenge. I'm still working on my Prosperity Challenge, currently on generation 3 of born-in-game sims. But it goes really slow b/c there's so many households. Anyhoo, legacy challenge sounds like fun and I'm super excited.

I joined a bunch of the livejournal communities dedicated to simming and legacy challenges in particular. One really cool one that I just joined (and is brand new to me, although I'm sure you all know about it) is pixel_trade, which is really fun. I'm not quite sure I understand the rules exactly. But I know that your legacy challenge is supposed to use other simmer's downloadable sims as the founder and spouses. I think that is a very cool idea. So, I went on a little downloading spree last night and found some amazing sims out there! Here's a list of the sims I've downloaded so far:

These are just a few sims that I came across and fell in love with. I have no idea which one is going to be my founder yet, but I'm about to find out! I plan on booting up the game in just a minute and starting the fun times of legacy challenge land! I'm sure I'll be downloading more simmies in the near future. I also don't have a lot of custom content yet, I've started over on a new vanilla account and have been slowly downloading neat stuff that I see around. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to starting this legacy and seeing where it takes me! I also hope to put some sims up for download in pixel_tradeonce I get some born-in-game simmies! We'll see how it goes!

I've never actually finished a challenge before, but I plan on changing that!
